Founder of ICON Talent, Inc., Janine is an experienced and well-known professional in the entertainment industry.

Born in New York, Janine was raised in sunny South Florida and considers herself a Miami native.  She has a long list of impressive accolades dating back to when she began her professional dancing career with the NBA’s Miami Heat. Thompson was later appointed to the position of Director/Choreographer of the team— a position which she successfully held for 10 years.

Under her direction, the Miami HEAT Dancers evolved into a talented group of multi-ethnic entertainers who have received national recognition for their accomplishments such as being featured in the ever popular FHM magazine, Sports Illustrated and who were also noted as the “Best Kept Secret in the League” by USA Today as well as the NBA’s Most Popular dance team – an honor they received for 4 consecutive years.  Thompson has an exemplary knack for spotting and developing talent as evidenced by the variety of successful events ICON Talent has achieved over the years.

Janine is a graduate of the University of Miami where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing.

Her vivaciousness has allowed Icon Talent, Inc. to stand tall at the cusp of today’s talent industry in becoming The True Icon of Talent and Entertainment!
